As it gets really very hard to go thru the cycel with meds n then the progesterone injectionsanyway we did a frozen embryo transfer on april 27 which were 2 day 6 blastocysts frozen from the feb-march. Its really common to have cramps after ET particularly on fresh cycles its often your ovaries shrinking back and your body just responding to all the drugs - if you are on cyclogest or similar this can cause cramps too.
I have been on this forum for a few years and have seen plenty of day 2 transfers. Today was my 2 day transfer. I was super positive and whilst the procedure wasnt the most comfortable Ive been feeling good and relaxing comfortably all day.
But as the day had gone on Ive had more and more stomach cramps and have now just had a horrible bought of diarrhea. Im now panicking that this is a bad sign. We got 5 embryos but one was abnormal so we had to discard.
We were called in to have a Day 3 transfer because one of the other embryos was only 2 cells by Day 2 but when we got there on transfer day that embryo had become a 6 cell and was fine so in the end we could have done a Day 5. My clinic works on embryo numbers to determine transfer day and less than 4 embryos means an earlier transfer. We had a Day 3 transfer on the 29th of October and I find out today if the other two embryos.

Just curious to know if anyone had success after a 5 day transfer after experiencing cramping. I had sharp cramping on day 2 and 3 after the transfer and since then have had cramping on and off but not nearly as strong. Its pretty much a dull ache in my lower abdomen.

Ive just been through my second round of IVF with ICSI. I had my first round last October in England which unfortunately didnt work. This round seemed to be going so wellI produced 30 eggs 13 of which fertilized.
3 of the embryos were really good on day 5 so I had them transfer all. I had my transfer done 12010 and about 6 days later I started getting period like cramps and I thought this IVF cycle failed. I never took a home pregnancy test because I heard with IVF they sometimes give you a false negative if done to early.
